Introduction
Consulting in management is a profession which requires on behalf of the one who practises it exceptional qualities in the domains of the analysis and the understanding of the problems of management, in the communication of its observations and his recommendations, in the establishment of the solutions, and finally, in the relations with the customer.
As professional, the consultant owes respect the following rules:
- Place the interest of the customer over his own interests.
- Accept no project of consultation which exceeds the scope of the knowledge of the consultant.
- Keep confidential the information concerning the customer and not to take it nobody favors.
- Hold no interest of control in a company competitor of that of the customer without revealing him.
- Do not invite an employee of the customer to consider a post at another employer.
- Present recommendations in a practical way and which is understood by the customer.
Whoever can claim to be a consultant in management, but a customer who wishes a quality work cannot take whoever.
